Fergie Brief History
Fergie first found fame as a singer with The Black-Eyed Peas music group. “Where is the Love?” blew up the charts and hit after hit followed.
After a couple of years, she broke off and released a solo album. There was no stopping Fergie’s astronomical success. Everybody loved her and wanted a piece of her.
Fergie’s given name is Stacy Ann Ferguson. She now goes by Fergie Duhamel, after her marriage to Josh Duhamel, which lasted for years. They first met in 2004, and after a long-time dating, finally married. They finally filed for divorce in 2019 and share one son.
Fergie’s biggest hits came with “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Glamorous” among others. They flew up the Billboard’s Top 100 and cemented her as a solo artist. Other notable moments include a fragrance in her name and a controversial NBA performance that left many confused.
Early in her career, she did voiceover work and had a stint on Kids Incorporated. She’s been a creative force for most of her life.
Unfortunately, she struggled with a meth addiction at one point but credits hypnotherapy with helping her. Today, she is fully recovered.
While motherhood suits her well, hopefully, another follow-up album will be forthcoming for this talented songbird.
